Miscellany
Well well, I haven't updated in quite some time! Did you feel neglected? Thought not. Okay. Let me tell ya what is going on.
First, Kalaan came for a visit and we went up to Duluth to ski at Spirit Mtn. That was fabulous. In Seth's own words:
"It was very fun. I like that we got to be able to ski! I skied blues, blacks and greens. It was very exciting. It snowed and we got nearly 6 inches while we were there. We stayed in a hotel, and we got to swim in a pool."
So there you have it. Our family ski vacation was a success!

Now...
I had a birthday! That's right! I'm 18! Happy birthday to me. Can you believe I have to post a happy birthday entry for myself? It's not like Kalaan, Sarah and Kara don't have the capabilities... *moment of silence for Abby's unjust life* Amen. So - on my birthday I got calls, emails, cards and more! As one well wisher put it, feliz cumpleaņos y bien venidos a el mundo de los adultos. Yikes. Hey - 18 doesn't mean I am an adult! Does it? I can still have fun and be free, but now I have to balance my insouciant personality with more responsibilities.
Meekly... I'm learning.
A couple days after my birthday (and a couple days before the BIOLOGY CLEP -more on that later) I got some sr. pix taken across the street at Bethany. (Can I say the name of my photog w/out his permission? Think think... better not.) The unnamed photographer did a lovely job and then stayed for dinner along with some unnamed Katt kids. :) After dinner Sarah, Kara and I headed south to Burnsville to 'craft' with Bethoodle. Ha! I walked in the door gabbing about WHO knows what and then was scared half to death by all of the people shouting SURPRISE! Ahhhh!!! I've never had a surprise party before. That same unnamed photographer was there, and those Katt kids who had 'gone home'. Ha. You sneaky people. It was so cool. Betha- oops, I mean Bethoodle, had cooked this up with Sarah, and alot of my friends had come to surprise me, and, oh. Bethany, you'll never know how much it meant to me. Thank you!!!

*Yawn!* I don't know about you, but I need to go do stuff! I'll be back later to tell you about the biology CLEP and Kara's birthday! Cya then.

You look gorgeous and I miss you all so much!! But it is so much fun to read all about your activities, birthdays (you are getting so old) and seeing all your beautiful faces once again. Such fun to read your missives, Abigail, you should consider writing in your future. congrats on passing of tests. sarah, I saw your wrist supports and hope you are doing well. I am navigating through your site and loving it. I had forgotten to log on in the new year and was so glad that Erin reminded me to take a peak. I don't do well sitting for lenghts of time at the computer. But I will for the sight of your bright and shining faces.
